I've been fighting tendinitis/tendinosis in my right arm for around five months now. I don't have any severe pain; moderate pain comes and goes.

Someone pointed out that the skin on my right arm and hand is slightly darker than that of the left. Is this something I should be worried about?

One thing I do for therapy is contrast (hot cold) baths.  Put the arm in ice water for 30 seconds, then in warm/hot water for several minutes, repeat four or five times. I do this several times per day. Could this cause a long-term change in skin color?
