Hi, my molar has big cavities. The cavity was found 1 year back. But there was no much pain and I didn't consider it. But now, it pains very badly. So last day I consulted a dentist. He suggested me to undergo root canal treatment and the to do crowning. Actually, I am afraid of all the dental treatments. When I see big needles and explorer I used to starts shivering. I told this to my dentist. He suggested me to undergo sedation dentistry from clinic that provides root canal pain treatment in Toronto. But I think for IV sedation again the needle is required. So I was thinking about the oral sedation. But I think it may need high dosage for better sedation result. Is there any side effect for this high dosage oral sedation? Should I go for local sedation or complete sedation? Please give your suggestions asap!!
