got this strange condition from last some months...when I feel i suddenly gets up and feel as if I am choked...I am scared to an extent of not sleeping which is causing a great deal of stress to my life...any suggestion...i read about it and feel it is not sleep apnoea...appreciate any response or clue..

it happens to me as well and I am waiting for any suggestion....this is disturbed sleep but I too am very scared...I have another problem that I bite my lips sometime which becomes blisters and hI have to bear the pain for atleast 10 days afterwards....please let me also know if there is any solution to this...I have stopped sleeping and very sad on this condition of mine...

Please go to the doctors before it turns into a serious condition. There are specialised sleep specialist and they would suggest a better way out. Internet is just a small part of education :)

this happens mainly because of two reasons 1) your throat has swelling may be because of drinking cold water or irritation or 2) you may have developed sleep apnea . Don't worry it happened to me because of throat swelling. visit a doctor is must for proper diagnosis

You would need a doctor to check on you.
