You just need to control it. You should drink another drink when you out of control.

you have taken the first step for de addiction, that is you have accepted that you are alchoholic and want to leave....so now the point is how?
1. have will power..
2. start reducing the intake rather than completely stopping at one go...
3. when you reduce start avoiding it for days in between...
4. start medication which will desist you from drinking (this can be done as 2nd step as well)
5. start yoga or mediation which will help you in longer term cure and increase your will power....
Be happy after that and live a long and health life..

I have become addicted to alcohol and need to drink everyday. So many times I have vowed to stop drinking but goes back again after 1-2 days. Had a job but now feel lonely and cant concentrate on anything. For almost a year have started drinking during the day also. Please suggest if there is any one who have gone out of addiction and also who should i go? Shall I go to the psychiatrist or shall i approach a de-addiction centre. Please advice....
